SALES EXECUTIVE - Great Heck, Selby, North Yorkshire

Covering North East & North Yorkshire area


We are the leading manufacturer in Concrete Blocks within the UK.


Due to the expansion of our Sales Team, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated Sales Person with relevant experience to join our developing company.

 

We are looking to recruit a full time, experienced, Sales Executive to manage all aspects of the sales process.  From identifying potential sales opportunities, to developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving targets by actively selling out premium products to trade customers within the construction and building sectors.

 

The successful candidate will need to be able to identify new business opportunities and engage with key decision makers to enable and close sales.

 

Key Skills

  • Personable and friendly with strong communication skills
  • Focused on providing unique customer experience and excellent service standards
  • Similar role and industry experience
  • Team player as well as the ability to work independently
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and career driven
  • Ability to prioritise and drive what matters
  • Pro-actively seeking all sales opportunities, implementing new product and promotional plans and achieving monthly sales targets
  • Assisting in customer after sales service
  • Analytical and focused on making evidence-based decisions
  • Effective account management, maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring that long term relationships are developed
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills

 

Experience

  • Essential proven +3 Year sales experience in a construction or related industry
  • Experience in direct sales & new business development. Proven experience of lead generation, winning new customers & targets attainment
  • We are looking for a person who wants to develop a career within the manufacturing sector and who can manage a challenging and varied role
  • Someone with a real passion for building business, plus a truly engaging, dynamic and persuasive personality, real drive and an inspiring record of success
  • Good understanding and knowledge of concrete block, aggregates and/or aerated concrete products would be highly desirable, however full product training will be given
  • You will need to be flexible as the role will require a degree of travel with customers being located in both the North East and North Yorkshire area(s)
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing sales person to help a great brand grow and develop

 

Salary & Benefits

  • Full time working hours (0830 – 1700 Monday to Friday)
  • Competitive salary (dependent upon experience, skills and knowledge)
  • Company Car
  • Attractive Company Pension Scheme
  • 26 days annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays
